How to start
- The drawing area on the right is ready immediately — you can trace on a blank grid with no photo loaded at all, or drop a photo/scan/PDF into it first for reference.
- If you loaded a photo, click "Set scale", then click two points on a wall of known length and enter that length, so distances match the real building. On a blank grid, a default scale is already active — no calibration needed.
- Type a label and pick a subarea for the first area you'll trace.
- Move the cursor (arrow keys or mouse) to whatever corner you want to start at, then press D — that exact spot becomes A0 (0,0) for the whole project, and also plants the POB for this first shape.
- Move the cursor to the next corner and press D again — repeat until you're back at the POB and press D once more to close the shape. Press V anytime to snap the cursor onto the nearest existing corner.
Drop a photo/scan or PDF, or click to choose one (optional — the grid below is ready now)

2. Area table & VECT strings
Add from an existing vector string
Label/Subarea above are only used for a single plain vector string.
Paste a full multi-subarea sketch string (e.g.
BAS(R10D8CR20D15L20U15)FGR(R20D10CR15D8L15U8))
and each named block is added on its own, using its own code — Floor still applies to all of them.
3. Report (Legal size, printable)
One page per floor, each sized for an 8.5"×14" legal sheet. "Print / Save as PDF"
opens your browser's normal print dialog — choose "Save as PDF" there for a
multi-page file, or print directly (each floor lands on its own printed sheet).
